Vaccinations

All cats boarding must be vaccinated against cat flu and feline infectious enteritis. Any cat will be refused boarding without such vaccines. The cat’s vaccination card must be seen before boarding and will be obtained until departure. Boosters must be done at least 2 weeks prior to arrival. 

Un-neutered male cats

We are unable to board un-neutered males over the age of seven months.

Collars

All cats if wearing a collar will be removed before taken into chalet for it safety. It would be recommended to remove collar at home before arrival.

Veterinary fees

All cat(s) must be in good health prior to arrival and not to be suffering from or suspected to be suffering from any infectious or contagious disease.

If a cat(s) needs veterinary treatment during boarding the fees will be charged to the owner and payment will be settled on departure.

There will be a separate charge of £5.00 to cover expenses i.e travel, in the event the cat is taken to see the veterinary surgery.

Uncollected cats

Cat(s) who remain uncollected after 4 weeks after agreed departure date, will be the proprietors right to reserve ownership, 
and take any action they wish to re-home the cat(s).

Free from fleas and worms

Cats must be treated against fleas and worms before boarding. Please contact the cattery for advice regarding flea treatment. Flea treatment is available from the cattery at a small charge.

Diets

All the cats will be fed the same, or as close as the food they are fed at home. If the cat has a preferred time to be fed then this will be adhered to. Prescription diets will not be provided and this will be the responsibility of the owner to supply.
